Bellingham Traverse

The Bellingham Traverse is an adventure race that you can either do solo, with a partner, or with a team. It consists of 5 legs. They are:
6 mile run
6 mile Mt. Bike
17 mile Road Bike
3 mile trail run
4 mile paddle
Here is a brief description of the event courtesty
Bellingham Traverse is an endurance multi-sport challenge that celebrates the life journey of salmon. Soloists, tandem and relay teams compete for survival on the course that demonstrates the urban and natural challenges that salmon face in their journey. The course follows the urban greenways and roads through Bellingham, showcasing the city's parks including Boulevard Park, Lake Padden, Fairhaven, and Marine Park. The course then heads out into the open water of Bellingham Bay finishing at a hidden beach at the end of Cornwall Avenue that is where all teams gather to finish the last leg together as they "trek" the last 1/2 mile to the finish line at the Depot Market Square and Boundary Bay Brewery.

I did the 3 mile trail run.

Here is a picture I got at the post race party at Boundary Bay.

Robby looks sooo happy to be there doesn't he. Yes he was missing the first half of the UGA game for me. Thanks.

It looks like you were having a great time, but Robby doesn't seem thrilled. We watched the game, he didn't miss much, just a slaughter of GA. Miss you guys, see you soon.
