While we were shelling the crab this afternoon Robby handed me a chunk of meat to try. To be honest I really did not like it plain. So, for dinner we whipped the meat into crab cakes. Oh my goodness, it is by far the best thing I have ever had. YUMMY! We got a total of 6 cakes from 2 crabs.

They look so good. Crab cakes are one of my favorite foods (I have a lot of favorites, but they are near the top of the list). It looks as if you guys are getting into the local flavor just fine.
